FEEL THE REAL

Touch Therapy:
Unlike faux products, A Real Sheepie's genuine Merino wool fibers contain lanolin, which has similar properties to the oils in human skin. This makes them exceptionally soothing to touch, even for individuals with sensitive skin.

Relive Aches & Pain:
The thick natural fibers of a Real Sheepie are naturally orthopedic. They form a springy, cushioned, support that cradles your body, easing pressure points and relieving muscle aches and pain.

Anti-Microbial Protection:
Real Sheepies repel mold, bacteria, and dust mites. The wool fibers have natural wicking properties that prevent moist conditions where microbes thrive.

Temperature Regulation:
Real Sheepies are temperature regulating. They feel warm in cold weather and cool in warm weather, keeping you comfortable year-round.

UPCYCLED FOR LESS WASTE
Upcycling sheepskins into Real Sheepies is part of a "nose to tail" approach to sheep farming. The hides, that we source from Australia and New Zealand, would otherwise be burned or discarded in a landfill.

Pasture-raised Merino sheep are cultivated primarily for their exquisitely soft wool. These are the high performance fibers found in Merino wool sweaters, scarves, hats, socks, etc.  Unfortunately though, sheep are not immortal. When their time is up, farmers aim to utilize as much of the animal as possible. Mutton (the meat) is a hardy stew protein and a great pet food ingredient. Bones are used for soup stock. And as for the hides, we upcycle them into Real Sheepies.

Easy Care:
Shake out and vacuum with plain suction when needed. Blot any spills immediately. Avoid over-exposure to direct sunlight. Hand wash or dry clean.
